About Us

Summit Painting was founded in 2008 by Jon Tomin and Daniel Bailo. Both had previously been operating painting companies in other parts of the Country. They came together with the vision of creating a truly professional painting company and setting a new standard for the industry after witnessing the terrible craftsmanship and unethical behavior that was so common during the building boom of the early 2000’s.

After 4 years, Jon moved on to other opportunities and now Daniel is the sole owner and operator of the company. Summit Painting has been very successful by operating within several core values and management techniques.

Daniel has been a professional painting contractor since 2004. He was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Oregon in 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is licensed in Oregon as a General Contractor and Certified Home Inspector.
